The Total London Sightseeing Experience Tour

There are a number of ways that you can take in all of the sights and sounds of the city, but only one way to make sure that you don’t miss anything out, and that is by taking a guided tour with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. There are tours that could just focus on the history of the city, some on the architecture, and some of the more gruesome past of this ancient metropolis. However, there is only one tour that allows you to experience it all and that is the Total London Sightseeing Tour. This is a tour that lasts for a total of ten hours and takes you to some of the places that the shorter tours miss. Those who take the tour have the option of having lunch included in the tour price, which makes this one incredible day in such a vibrant and interesting city.

Tour Highlights

There are a number of things that make this tour special, but the fact that you get entry to some of the places you visit included in the price is a great feature. Other tours may take you around the outside of buildings and tell you all about them, but unless you leave the tour or go back later, you will not get to see what lies hidden behind the ancient stone walls. On the Total Experience tour you get entry into St Paul’s Cathedral (which includes special access into the Quire) and the tower of London, plus you get to ride on the incredible London Eye and ride on a river boat. In addition, you will get to watch the iconic changing of the guard at majestic Buckingham Palace.

Tour Details

These tours operate on a daily basis starting at approximately 8.30am and ending at 6.30pm, there are a number of different pickups from a number of city hotels should you not be able to make it to the departure point at Fountain Square. Participants on the tour travel in a fully air conditioned vehicle and must be sure to have their cameras at the ready as they are taken on a whistle stop tour of all of the city’s major monuments, especially when they arrive at Westminster Abbey! They are guided around the interior of St Paul’s Cathedral, unless it is the Sunday tour as due to the timetable of services there is no interior tour. The changing of the guard has been attracting tourists for decades and watching the soldiers and listening to the military band is something that you will remember for a very long time. Spend extra time at the Tower of London, learn all about the different roles it has played in the life of the city, and marvel at the beauty of the crown jewels. Take an exclusive tour with a Beefeater Yeoman and learn about a different side of the tower. Then take to the river for a relaxing cruise past some of the iconic buildings that edge the river. The day ends with a ride on the impressive London Eye.
